Glisten has “reasonable start to year”

UK snacks and confectionery manufacturer Glisten has announced a “reasonable” start to the year after seeing sales rise by 15 per cent to £24.3m.

 

The company is looking to the festive season to further boost its sales.

 

“The Christmas/New Year trading period remains important for all our businesses, particularly Dormen Nuts, Snacks Unlimited and Glisten Confectionery at Christmas and Halo Foods in the post-Christmas period when consumers look for healthier products,” chairman Jeremy Hamer told shareholders at the annual meeting yesterday.
